| Days 1 & 2: Arrive Boston, MA | The “Athens of America” is yours to discover. Explore the Freedom Trail, ride the Swanboats in the Public Gardens,shop at Quincy Market, take a dinner cruise on Boston Harbor. Take the “T”to Cambridge, or a whale watch cruise. | Day 3: To Mid Coast Maine (112 mi/180 km) | Travel along the North Shore of Massachusetts,through coastal New Hampshire and into Maine. Visit the summer communities of Kennebunk and Kennebunkport, seasonal home to former US President George Bush. Continue along the coast to arrive early evening in Portland, a historic city, known for its restored Old Port Exchange on the waterfront. Plentiful restaurants feature the local specialty — lobster!

| Day 4: To White Mountains, NH(107 mi/171 km) | Journey through the Maine Lakes Region on your way to the White Mountains. Drive to North Conway, a shoppers’ paradise with countless factory outlet stores offering top quality at rock bottom prices. Also in North Conway: the Conway Scenic Railroad; Storyland children’s theme
park and Heritage New Hampshire museum. The nearby Mt. Washington
Toll Road takes you to the summit of one of the east’s highest mountains. If you’re travelling onto Lincoln, journey along the picturesque Kancamagus Highway, an old Indian trail following the Swift River through the mountains.

| Day 5: To Green Mountains (139 mi/209 km) | Today, traverse the White and Green Mountain ranges that divide the New England states of New Hampshire and Vermont. The mountains are home to bears, moose, wild turkey, and deer. The route takes you through some of New England's most beautiful scenery. Drive by Lyndonville and see Willey's General Store in Greensboro before continuing through Craftsbury, a Grandma Moses kind of village, to Stowe. See picture-perfect villages and some of Vermont's famous covered bridges.

| Day 6: To Connecticut River Valley - Mystic, MA(174 mi/278 km) | In 1614, the first Europeans entered the Connecticut River estuary and by the 1630s, fur trading posts extended into Massachusetts. In the following century, English colonists moved farther and farther up river into Vermont and New Hampshire. Today, step into Old Sturbridge Village and find yourself transported back in time. Tour the

Travel to Boston to drop your car and catch your flight home. |
