Total no of rooms : 63, all with sea views and balconys and whilst modern and sophisticated have an old style feel to them because traditional Sri Lankan motifs and handiwork have been included. Everything is not white and streamlined with Italian appliances, as a contempory hotel might suggest, but it is contempory and stylish in a very Sri Lankan and agreeable manner. It has its' own character, and the artworks and sculpture along all the corridors very much add to its' individual style.

Cardamom Café, the 24 hour restaurant where buffets and any meals as part of your package would be taken. Great sea views, smart casual clothing, good service. A la carte is available but the buffets really are some of the best we have had and suit all palates and appetites.
Anchor Bar & Grill (Pool Side Bar and Café) - good for lunch and snacks
Coats of Arms Bar & Terrace - Pre dinner drinks, billiards and views of the sea. Great place for cocktails.

The wine list is very very good with some fabulous choices. Try the Penny's Hill Estate gem.
