| Day 1 Depart UK for Durban | Depart The UK for your flight to Durban, routing via Johannesberg. This will be an overnight flight |
| Day 2 To Drakensberg Mountains | Pick your hire car up and drive to The Drakensbergs (2-3 hrs), to Cleopatra's.
In its awesome setting with splendid views of the mountains and running with crystal clear streams and waterfalls, Cleopatra is the ultimate in peace, tranquillity and solitude. It is ideal for its intended purpose as a restful refuge with professional yet understated service and most of all a gourmet experience to remember.

| Day 4 near Rorke's Drift | Make your way today, to Fugitive's Drift. (3-4 hours)
Fugitives’ Drift is world famous for its battlefield tours, escorted by knowledgeable and highly-qualified lecturers, steeped in the history of the region and telling the tale as they were taught to tell it by the renowned historian David Rattray.
Accommodation at the Lodge consists of eight spacious luxury en-suite rooms. Each has a private veranda affording views over the plains flanking the Buffalo River gorge. A feature of the Lodge is the beautiful, shady, well-established garden, which is home to innumerable birds. A swimming pool is situated on a ledge, overlooking the river valley.

| Day 6 To Zululand | Your drive from Fugitive's Drift to Amakhosi Safari Lodge in Zululand, in the Amazulu Reserve. (approx 5 hours)
Boasting 12 000 hectares, Amazulu Private Game Reserve is made up of a varied ecosystem. The diversity found in this game rich Reserve includes savannah, mountains and wetlands which makes it the ideal home to “Africa’s Big Five as well as giraffe, warthog and hyena beside the over 15 different antelope species, hippopotamus and crocodile.

| Day 10 To the Coast | Head to the Coast for an end of holiday chill out at the fabulous Rocktail Bay Lodge in Maputuland. (2-3 hours)
Rocktail Bay Lodge is tucked out of sight and away from the coastal breeze yet just metres from the warm Indian Ocean and some of South Africa's most incredible beaches. Around the lodge are 30km of undisturbed coastline rich in marine life and part of the Great St Lucia Wetlands World Heritage Site. Here the waves break endlessly on beaches where it is possible to walk for hours without meeting a soul. Offshore is the Maputaland Marine Reserve, with many reefs hardly ever dived, engendering extraordinary diving and snorkelling encounters with huge shoals of fish, dolphins, whale sharks and even whales! This most comfortable of lodges is ideal for those wanting to truly unwind.

| Day 14: Begin your journey back home | Drive to Richard's Bay to pick up your connecting flight to Johannesberg and then on to London.
