Informal, yet elegant and private. Spacious, but still romantically cozy. East Winds Inn consists of only 30 rooms, 26 of which are in 13 individual duplex cottages, plus 3 ocean view rooms and a suite, all set amongst the verdant gardens.

Each of the rooms has its own private and shaded terrace or patio and is tastefully decorated offering the finest in comfort and amenities.

All are elegantly furnished and feature Rivolta Carmignani linen with your choice of a king-sized bed or twin beds.Interconnecting cottages would be suitable for families.Some of the Deluxe rooms have connecting doors through the patio/terrace- this sounds odd but in fact the terrace functions as another room so, in my opinion, the access is easy between parents and children.

In the Flamboyant Room, the cuisine is of the highest standard. Under the expert and innovative guide of recognized French and local chefs, the hotel has won several accolades and medals in local and regional culinary competitions and is a member of the Chaine des Rotisseurs.

Operating in St. Lucia’s most modern kitchen, chefs employ their culinary expertise to create an innovative and delicious range of Caribbean and International dishes as well as daily vegetarian options. All meals are carefully complimented by an enticing choice of hand selected wines, which are stored in Vin Safe wine cellars to ensure the wine is in top condition.

For a more intimate dining experience, enjoy private dining surrounded by tropical plant life in our Palm Beach Gazebos - incredibly romantic for couples and a great social gathering place for lunch and dinner during the evening bar-b-ques.

Fish and lobster are brought fresh to the beach by local fishermen in their pirogues, whilst herbs are gathered from the garden, with vegetables and fruits delivered from selected local farmers.

Lounge on the warm, golden sand beach, and watch as the gentle waves roll in and out, getting you into the wind down zone. Thatch roofed Sun Beach Huts ensure both privacy and protection.

Cool off in a lovely free-form pool. Thanks to the state-of-the-art computerized cleaning equipment this sparkling pool is one of the best kept fresh water basins on the island. With its swim-up bar (make your own cocktails from the recipes) and soothing fresh-water, the pool is the ideal oasis.

Enjoy afternoon tea poolside in the elegant Jasmine Room, or take time away from a favourite novel to enjoy a guided nature walk around the resort. Escape amidst the many indigenous plants, flowers, trees and birds which form the beautiful gardens.

Out on the water, a small reef is home to a variety of local fish. Witness the colours and movements of these exotic species while snorkeling with friends or diving under the supervision of the Eastern Caribbean Divers’ School. If you want to stay dry, one of the hotel canoes or kayaks, gives you the chance to tour the serene waters of the bay.

Yoga - plus a new running track around the gardens with built in stop zones to stretch out - not a great runner myself but seemed like a good idea!
