HALF DAY COOKING COURSE AT BLUE ELEPHANT, BANGKOK

Cookery Course in Thailand:Starting with a trip to a Bangkok market, learn to select and buy Thai ingredients for your personal cooking lesson. Learn how to cook a variety of popular dishes with a qualified Thai chef. The class is followed by a meal in their delightful restaurant sampling your own cooking as well as additional Thai dishes.
Note: Only Morning Courses include visit to the market.

HALF DAY MASSAGE TRAINING COURSE

This massage course is designed for people who are interested in learning the right way of using their hands to provide relaxation of body and brain to another person. The four-hour training will teach you the way how massages work on the body and soul as well as massage techniques. You will learn about the energy lines of the hands, arms and shoulder, and how to apply the correct pressure points. After completing the course you receive your personal training script and Relax-One-hour certificate. Inclusive of a welcome drink and tea break.

HALF DAY BIKING IN CHINA TOWN

Start from the Grand China Princess Hotel, explore the bustling everyday life of Chinatown. Through narrow alleyways and winding pathways best accessed through two-wheel transport, we pass markets, local Buddhist temples, and a vast array of unique “street life”. We cross the Chao Phraya River by ferry and continue the tour in Thonburi to see more of local temples, museums and slower-paced lifestyle of urban Thais on the other riverside. Back to the starting point in China Town after going through the flower market.

HALF DAY VISIT TO DAMNOEN SADUAK FLOATING MARKET

Visit Damnoen Saduak Floating Market in Ratchaburi province about 100km from Bangkok. Take a long tail boat ride through the canals and see how Thai people live alongside the labyrinth of canals in this area. Arrive at the famous Damnoen Saduak market where you can stroll around the colourful floating marketplace bustling with boats and vendors selling tropical fruits and other delights.
Note: Rowing boat tour not included but available at additional cost.

HALF DAY CHINATOWN WALK

Your guide will pick you up and drive you to Chinatown square where you start an interesting walk through one of the oldest parts of Bangkok. Walk along Yaowarat Road where you visit interesting shops selling birds nests and shark fins, continue to a very old teashop to enjoy a cup of Chinese tea with the locals before heading down Trok Leng Moi Eia (a small soi)to Talad Kao for a busy local market with variety of fresh food, fresh & dry fruits, Chinese herbs, groceries. End the walk at Wat Leng Neng Yee to visit the Taoist temple.

HALF DAY FLOWER MARKET AND KLONGS TOUR

Starting with a morning walk through Pak Klong Talaat, the flower market where you will see many of Thailand’s exotic flowers and flora including many species of orchids. Experience the hustle and bustle of the busy working market (best in the morning) before heading deep into the Klongs of Bangkok where you will see temples and people living alongside Bangkok’s waterways. Our tour takes you away from the busy tourist channels to the edges of Bangkok. Upon the return to the city, stop and visit Wat Arun, the temple of dawn.

HALF DAY SUAN PAKKAD PALACE & JIM THOMPSON HOUSE

An interesting tour into traditional Thai-style architecture and art. Start with Suan Pakkad Palace, a cluster of 5 traditional teak houses that used to be the home of Prince and Princess Chumbhot, continue to Jim Thompson’s mansion, a unique example of Thai residential architecture filled with one of the finest collections of Asian artefacts and antiques.

HALF DAY GRAND PALACE AND EMERALD BUDDHA

The Royal Grand Palace is Bangkok’s number one ‘must see’ attraction as well as Thailand’s most important landmark. Our guide will take you on an in depth journey through Thailand’s history and royal heritage. You will be awed by the grandeur and majesty of the building and its throne halls. And, of course, marvel at the mysterious Emerald Buddha, the most revered Buddha image in Thailand.
(Appropriate dress is required (or can be rented on site). Your shoulders and legs must be covered and you must wear proper footwesr (not sandals).

MORNING CHANTING AT WAT PO AND GRAND PALACE

An early start will get you to Wat Po in time to experience the monks early morning chanting ritual (chanting starts at 09.00Hrs). After this uplifting and often private experience visit the temple grounds and the famous 45-metre reclining Buddha. Continue to The Grand Palace, Thailand’s most important landmark, where you will be awed by the grandeur and majesty of the building and its throne halls. Then, of course, marvel at the mysterious Emerald Buddha, the most revered Buddha image in Thailand.

FULL DAY BANGKOK SIGHTSEEING

This busy but fascinating day starts with a long tail cruise through the Thonburi klongs. Sightseeing stops are made along the way at Wat Arun and then at the incomparable Grand Palace where you will visit the majestic throne halls and mysterious Emerald Buddha. Lunch is served at the delightful Supatra River House overlooking the Chao Phraya River. In the afternoon visit Vimanmek Palace, the world’s largest teak building and finish the day with a stop at the Marble Temple, Wat Benjamabophit, which features a fascinating fusion of Thai and European architectural styles.

FULL DAY FLOATING MARKET AND RIVER KWAI

Visit Damnoen Saduak Floating Market in Ratchaburi province about 100km from Bangkok. Take a boat ride along the canal to see the colourful floating marketplace bustling with boats and vendors selling tropical fruits and other delights. Continue to Kanchanaburi for lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the famous bridge on the River Kwai, built by Allied prisoners of war during World War II. The tour includes a visit to the war cemetery, a visit to the Railway Museum and the JEATH Museum.

FULL DAY RIVER KWAI WITH ELEPHANT RIDING AND BAMBOO RAFTING

Drive west of Bangkok to Kanchanaburi province for a varied day of history and nature. In the morning visit the famous bridge of River Kwai, the Second World War cemetery and the JEATH Museum. If time allows, take a train ride through the Kwai Noi gorge. Deep in the mountainous countryside we take lunch at local restaurant by the river and in the afternoon visit Taweechai Elephant Camp where you can experience bamboo rafting on the peaceful Kwai Yai River and an Elephant ride through the jungle. Return to Bangkok late afternoon.

FULL DAY GOLFING IN BANGKOK AT MUANG KAEW

Experience a round of Golf at one of the challenging and superbly maintained 18-holes golf courses in the vicinity of Bangkok. A top class course yet only and bustle but still only 20 minutes from downtown, Muang Kaew Golf offers a full complement of facilities and services to golfers, including a golfers bar and restaurant overlooking the course, a fully stocked pro shop, spacious locker rooms, two practice greens and a short game area, golf carts, golf club and shoe rentals.
