These superbly furnished guesthouses are within easy walking distance of the attractions of Franschhoek in the Winelands area of the Cape. The buildings are full of history; one was a base for the officers during the Boer War and dates back to 1860. The surrounding area is stunning with views across the vineyards up to the mountains.
It is perfectly situated to travel out to the wine estates for tours of delightful cellars and to view the impressive Cape Dutch architecture. •

Wildlife activities here enable guests to 'touch, taste and smell' Africa. • Your day begins with a game drive of approximately four hours, accompanied by a qualified ranger and tracker. Guests not only get close to Big Game but also learn to identify birds and trees, taste edible fruit, follow in the footsteps of animals great and small and learn about local bush lore. Become one with the bush as you track silently after the spoor of wildlife during game drives. • The night game viewing is an experience of its own.
