Barbados
Barbados is the most easterly of all the Caribbean Islands exposing the eastern side of the island to the wild Atlantic Ocean resulting in dramatic views and landscapes. The more sheltered Western and southerly sides of the island have beautiful white sandy beaches and coral reefs. There is a small tide along this side which refreshes the beaches, bringing in small shells. Barbados is popular with celebrities and visitors return year after year for the local seafood restaurants, bars and optional nightlife- there is quite a lot to choose from.
There are plenty of places to stay, from fabulous luxurious resorts to fun filled family resorts, perfect for children and adults alike. Various dining options are available at most resorts.
Air access is excellent and advanced bookings for peak months are strongly advised.
Barbados Sports Camps have run successfully in 2008 and are bookable from the 3-28 Aug 2009 for budding sports enthusiasts. Find out more at info@barbadossportscamps.com.
