PLEASE NOTE: Travellers from 12 Jan '09 will be required to obtain authorisation (known as ESTA) before arriving at the airport and can apply online at https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov.
The application process may take up to approximately 15-20 minutes and authorisation is normally granted immediately but may take up to 72 hours. We recommend that customers apply for authorisation at the time of booking or at least 72 hours before their flight to ensure that they are able to travel. Customers making late bookings can still apply, but there is a risk that they may not receive immediate confirmation.

Once granted, authorisation is valid for two years. Travellers do not need to have firm plans to travel to apply for authorisation.
